I have the following situation:
ASP.NET page calls VFP SP, creates record(s) in the database. Now the customer wants to automatically print a report of the new record(s).
VFP SP does not support REPORT command. I realize that I can have a small program with timer running on the db server to print the report. But I was wondering if there is a way to print the reports without having to run a program with timer.
I have not tried it yet, but I can see that DO MYPROG.APP is not on the list of unsupported SP commands, so I will try it. Do you think this is a valid approach?
Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
