I think we got our wires crossed. The "wait cursor" generally depicts the visual state of the mouse cursor.

I'm talking about the little blinking line you get inside a text field when you're about to type something.

About digging through the properties / docs / etc... all day. I've sent an email off to their support too but they tend to be a tad slow.
