re JVP's dinner: full credit to him for qualifying, and to his school for having such luminaries attend. IMHO JVP's achievement is far greater because he also has a family that he needed to feed and be a good daddy for, unlike most of his fresh-faced classmates who could be utterly selfish. IMHO it is a massive achievement by JVP. Perhaps you could pass on my congratulations. At this point I doubt we'd ever see him again- law is so exciting and lucrative, he will truly move on.
I take it from your post that you're off to school now as well?
