I will bet you that not one person has added an item to the wishlist that it would be nice if the controlsource of a column would not evaporate if the recordsource of the Grid was changed. I think users of VFP are so used to working around VFP that it becomes the norm. When I had a problem with listindex in a listbox (you participated in the thread) I got a reply from Italy with 100 line workaround.

Anyway, I have found a workaround by using cursors. Its not the best but its what I will do.
