Hello Nadya, thanks for the concern.

Im using the native REPLACE command to update the sql table via VIEW.

For your info my IDENTITY field is not updatable bec it is already auto-increment datatype on the sql server, so when I execute my REPLACE command im actually not touching the value of that IDENTITY field.

Is there a way that this IDENTITY_INSERT can be turned ON? if yes is that the solution to this problem.

So im still confused as of now why i am arriving at this err msg.
