>>Houston,

>>You can't deny that it is an item in the T&C: 'Political attacks'. They are not allowed HERE. The reason is (I assume) that things can completely get out of control here if they ARE allowed. It does not say that political issues can't be discussed here. But attacks must be avoided. And attacks need not be directed to any person here before they are regarded as violations. Your notion that 'the president is an imbecile' alone is enough to have your reply be regarded as a violation. Why? Because if your remark is not regarded as such, then you clear the path for someone else who wants to write that Kelly is the biggest idiot on earth, and so on.

>My interpretation is that you are not allowed to politically attack another forum member. What is any form of talk about the various candidates if not thinly veiled attacks? Jay, is taking it to mean you are not allowed to state any conclusions or beliefs about the candidates - this means that all talk of a political nature needs to be watered down to the point of not being worth anything.

Expressing conclusions and beliefs, fine. Truth seeking, even better. Finding logical flaws in the opinion of the other, that's probably the real thing. Ok, here we go. Your conclusion that Bush is an imbecile can be proven to be untrue. And I can't imagine that you yourself really believe it. Further, it is not truth seeking either. So, it was merely an expression out of the hearth? But then again, if you are allowed to express in this way, then you/we should allow everybody the same. Or should it be a privilege granted to you only?

Admit it. You have passed a dangerous boundary when stating that he's an imbecile.
