How to prove the existance of an temp-cursor ??

In my form i fill several temp-cursors under special circumstances with sql passthrough.

select ... into cursor a
select ... into cursor b
select ... into cursor c


I don't know how to prove the existance of a temp-cursor

I want to code something like
if there is a curcor a tablerevert()
if there is a curcor b repeat last select for cursor b
if there is a curcor c delete cursor c

Any help welcomed
