Anyone know if this tracking tool (PVCS-Version Manager, recent version) can handle vfp metadata?

I set up a small project today in VM, and the simple files (prg, txt, bmp, fpw...) all track changes fine with Check-out/in. But all the "dual-file" containers/files (those with memo/index portions) such as SCX & SCT don't work. I click on scx, for example, in VM to check out a form, and vfp8 opens as I set it to do, but then it can't find the sct. Same with projects, classes, reports, etc. If it can't find a file like that, of course it can't track anything at all. PVCS-VM is supposed to be our new standard version tracker, but it doesn't seem to work well for Microsoft products in general. Java works fine, OTOH. Apparently it was a case of some top IT manager seeing VM only with a Java demo, thought it was great, and then he bought a whole site-license. Now we (developers) find a bunch of dev tools don't play well with PVCS...

Anyone know anything about PVCS-VM and VFP? I've searched the web and Serena site, but only find a few questions similar to mine (and other tools that also have trouble with PVCS, like VS.NET).

I have an appt set up for Thursday for a PVCS techie to remotely view my PVCS machine set-up and try to see if anything can be done to get past this problem, but thought I'd ask here, see if anyone might have already been through this?
