In another message I said I was saying that I need to restore Sql server database from files .MDF and .LDF. But I think I was mistaken. I called the customer and he said these files are not a backup but a copy of the database.
Do I understand correctly that in this case I need to Attach the files to my database?
If so, maybe someone can give me a brief direction to how to attach these files?
Do I need to copy them to the folder where all other databases reside or attach will work from any folder?
Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
