Is it possible that you have the table open exclusively in VFP while trying to access it from .NET?
>Hi all,
>
>We are running ASP.NET script on the server. The script calls DLL created in Foxpro. The function in the DLL updates dbf table with the REPLACE command.
>It was running OK. After we updated the table during maintanance, there was a connection lost and the database was corrupted.
>We validated the database with the recovery. Now we can do replace on the table in the Foxpro environment, but from the web, the DLL return the message:
>"Can not update the cursor
, since it is read-only"

>Any sugesstions?
>Thank you in advance,
