>Jess, it is something they could do...but the method they would have to use is similar to running the report once to get the total number of pages and then running it again for the 'real' run...this is neccessary because different printers will print differently (larger non-printable borders, etc.)....so this would produce a slow down for all reports, even the ones that don't require the feature...

You have the clear point here, but if MS will include the feature, maybe they could do it in simple way. And besides, what if your report is too long, say pages 1000, then you have to wait for long before printing page 1. We tried it already, its not worth the time.
