Figured this out....
I was trying to set the tabbed pages to be docked. This was causing the buttons to move beyond the design display (1024, 685).
I also discovered that in VS.NET 2003 the MappingName for Data Grid Table Style Collection Editor is not selectable via the drop down and therefore must be manually typed in the property field.

I am still getting the error related to the form's code line:
'Required by the Windows Form Designer
' Private components As System.ComponentModel.IContainer

Any help would be greatfully appreciated.
