I have an app that sits in one directory for testing, then upon approval by the customer, gets moved to the working directory. The problem is there are settings that are different based upon which directory the app is sitting, and I'd like to get away from changing settings and recompiling the app for the working directory. I want to be able to just move the files to the other dir as is.

I guess what I'mm thinking is I need some kind of runtime defined variable in a file outside of the .exe. Any suggestion for the best way to do this? The gray matter between my ears isn't working to well at the moment....
