I think I managed to get the biz object to use a different dataenv as required.

So the parent biz object may use an unrestricted view when dropped on a form it's dataenv can be changed to use a dataenv that contains one restricted view.

The problem I was having seemed to be with the builder, If I go and changed the cdataenvironment property manually everthing seems to be ok.

I'm assuming chopping and changing dataenvs like this is ok.
