Just looking for a few ideas.
We have a client who enters a lot of stuff onto XL spreadshhets, then retypes the data into our APP.
They are looking for a 'Better' way of doing this and would welcome suggestions:
One of the problems is that the Excel spreadsheets they use tend to be non standard, they are used mainly for Quotations for Products that may/or may not be in the APP.

Prices, Miscellaneous Text to do with Product Specifications (which can be long) and Customer specific details are the type of data entered onto the spreadsheets .

A few ideas have occurred to me:

1. Use within VFP some sort of Rich text facility in a Memo Field which will give them control over the way Memo fields LOOK (Is this possible)

2. Link the APP to the spreadsheet (i.e. have a field which points back to the Excel spreadsheet and 'travels' with the record). Each time they click the Spreadshet Icon in VFP, it loads up Excel and brings up the spreadsheet

3. Use OLE to link particular columns on the spreadsheet (This might be a bit too restrictive)
