here is a simple solution.

I have a command on a form for "Print/View". The click method is

with thisform
._shellexecute1.shellexecute(.repfile,.repdir,"")
endwith

This runs the default viewer - typically Acrobat, givinf view or print facilities. (repfile - the name of the pdf;repdir - the path to the pdf)
