But since you described a situation where you could actually see each control individually being painted (as opposed to what I'm assuming most would generally expect...to see everything more or less come up at once), I was curious about what code was executing in the form (or form manager, if applicable) from the point where the painting 'starts' to where it 'ends'.

(and it could yield nothing, but I'm curious)...
