I am not a religious fanatic, but our country badly needs the caliber of Eddie Villanueva.

>Hey, it's great to know you guys over there know things about this almost God-forsaken country of ours. In a lot of ways, Americans must be thankful (very in fact) on how your government is working.
>
>Here, I guess you may have heard about one of our Generals (M/Gen Carlos Garcia) being caught with humongous amounts of dollars stashed in your country AND here. The wife was stupid enough to write your govt agency with a very incriminating letter asking to get back the USD100,000 confiscated by US Govt. Garcia, now being grilled by the joint committee of the Lower and Upper House, upon being asked questions, only says one thing: I invoke my right to self-incrimination!
>
>My oh my.. such callous, brazen acts of theft! And to think Garcia is just one of them... plunder of such magnitude definitely won't happen without the knowledge of his superiors! Imagine how much more were stolen by his other colleagues and higher-ups!
>
>Having said the above, I would rather have Marcos back! At least to my mind, there was only ONE as against A WHOLE MOB of plunderers! And even if he did take some, he left a lot of legacies like infrastructure, stable govt...
>
>WHERE HAVE ALL THE GOOD MEN GONE? WE NEED A HERO!
>
>To me, this is terrorism in a different form. Perhaps the US can find ways to help us in this regard? =)

>>>Honestly, if Kerry were in Bush's shoes during 9-11, would have done a better job?!!! This to me should be the issue with regards to Kerry!
>>
>>Kerry voted against the first gulf war, voted against the pershing missles in Europe and voted for the nuclear freeze. That pretty much tells you what he understands about strategic issues.
>>
>>Not only would Kerry not have performed well on 9-11 ( though I have no doubt he would have outperformed Al Gore or Bill Clinton ), had he been president in the 80s we would still be dealing with the soviet union ( and Marcos would probably have hung on a lot longer in the Philippines - I am sure you know the role Paul Wolfewitz played in all that. Odd how he is depicked a some right-wing war monger when in fact he is one of the greatest defenders and proponents of democracy in American government in the last 20 years.)
