I just looked up "winform sluggish" on Google. Check out
http://www.dotnetjunkies.com/Forums/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=4311 to see I'm not the only one seeing this repaint issue... but (more to the point) look it up on Google yourself and you will find that "somebody else you know" has also experienced speed issues. Hint: 4th hit in the list. ;-)
