I have posted the 1st version of the WinForms/VFP sample application.

This is a simple readonly application (no updates in it). It takes the customers, orders, lineitems tables from NorthWind.DBC and displays them in a number of different forms.

This is one approach to doing this type of application. It demonstrates the ability to use the VFP OLE-DB provider to query data. It queries data from VFP and binds it to a number of forms. There are samples of grids, combos, text boxex, date entry fields etc.

You will need the .NET framework, VFP 8 (installed in c:\program files\..." and the VFP 8 ole-db provider.

The first report I received was from a tester using a K6 CPU with 64MB.
That user reported acceptable performance.

Without saying... let me know whatcha think. If you do try this and reply I would like to know what type of machine you are using.
