I must tell you that I haven't tested the first part and I think that you may need to refresh the menu somehow after the global logical has been changed. I'm not sure if it will work that way. The alternative is probably a better bet. Push the menu and activate a new one, or simply add the new options to the existing menu programatically when you have a valid password.

Too bad the menu system hasn't been made object-oriented like the reports. (yet...) Maybe some day.
