Hi Kevin,
I didn't think the idea of adding some basic timing 'captures' (or just displays, I suppose) had much if anything to do with "satisfied customers". Rather, I saw it as a good suggestion for something that is touted as a demo to prove that Winforms are as fast as anything VFP can deliver.
Different people will can different things "slow" and nothing beats having exact measurements to remove the subjectivity.
Is there some reason why you do not approve of this idea (given the fact that anything in VFP regarding speed has historically always reported timing values as a simple matter of course)?
