Visual FoxPro and .NET
Hi Claude,
We were testing DLL extensively, and realized that if the DLL (Foxpro code) creates a table, the OWNER of this table is "NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE". And this table then can be updated without any problem.
We added this NETWORK SERVICE user with Read/Write permissions to the files we need to update from DLL. This solves the “Can not update, since it is read-only” problem.
We still don’t know the reason, what happened in the server environment, because we had no problem updating the files without dealing with this Network Service user before.
Thanks,
Galina
