Make Library :)
I wrote fully OOP reporting engine (classes) for writing reports in code!
(See CodeRep here in downloads u mind find it interesting)
It would be much nicer, instead of you having to break your guts,
to have it as part of VFP! With preview possibility on top of it!
I posted it here as wish, but no one seems to care for that :(
I even got negative mark on it (Means 'I disagree completely' ??)
Point is, that having possibility to write and control laser printers
directly from VFP - would make reporting virtualy unlimited!
Let say, now (After I purchased PDFL from eqeus.com) I can do all that with PDF. Standard reports, completely nonstandard reports. Write across, vertical , on the edge of the page, totalling in code ,detail bands as u wish, 15 reports chained together - u name it! It is just (OOP) code!
I am simply impressed with all that freedom of doing things
EXACTLY as you want them!
Now that VFP9 is here and many new things are there,
maybe this wld be the first next thing :))
(It is in human nature to hope :) )
Hv nice weekend :)
