I agree with the others that a commercial framework is probably your best bet, but here is more info:

The Fox Foundation Classes are documented in Markus Egger's book: http://www.hentzenwerke.com/catalog/aoopvfp.htm. You can also find samples in the VFP Component Gallery.

There was a recent article in FoxPro Advisor regarding the VFP framework. I think there were other articles written several years ago that go into more detail.
