You can do just the same with VFP8.
Besides the new runtimes files, you have to put in your application's folder the GDIPLUS.dll, msvci70.dll, msvcp70.dll, msvcr70.dll and msxml*.dll (if you use CursorToXML or XMLToCursor functions)
