A couple of points:

1) If you're doing this under Win98, using the public beta, it probably won't work, period. This is in the release notes I believe. I would expect a C5, in fact. It *will* work in the shipping product but it does *not* work in that build.

2) You do *not* need to distribute the REPORT*.APPs if you don't want to, in fact in many cases it is preferable not to. You can build the components into your app if you want to. This is covered in the refresh of the help file, in great detail <s>. I'm not sure if this is working in the version you have, but this is the design and will work by release.

3) If you *do* distribute the REPORT*.APPs you need to point to their location or install them in the same place as the runtime files, which is HOME() and which is where they will be looked for by default. There is a new MSM (setup module) with the REPORT*.APPs in it, to make this easier to do when you create a setup for your apps.
