Hi Mazahir,
It depends.
We use for our billing system the same speed with 12 branches, but we apply distributed DB and very small amount af data are transfered through it.
Our hypermarket IS work with 4 branches x 15 POS per each and they use 1M VPN

Both system use standard 2 CPU Xeon servers with SCSI RAID5, but you have option to use SATA HDD now.
