I guess you are talking about development environment (Editing and running forms in the same time) But what about exe deployment ?

Solution I provided u with, works both ways as development and deployment
scenario and is very flexible to implement in variety of client situations.

Data environment class would work even better, as with this you wld be able to insert mentioned line in DE base class and u r done. I still
work with VFP6, that is why this line is needed in each DE form.

In case u need to deploy app to more then one client then you should
consider some sort of DE based solution instead of opening and editing
scx/frx-es each time.
