I am using VB6 ADO to retrieve records from an Access DB. Withing this query, I need to exclude certain records. The field for exclusion is a text field used to store phone numbers.
If for instance, I want to exclude calls to the number (111) 222-3333, I can put that into the query and it works fine. But, if I want to exclude all the calls to the (111) area code.....I cant get it to work using any of the following....(111)*.....(111)%.....(111) ???-????.

Any suggestions?
