Hey Darrell,
Usually you'd create your own subclasses from the MM classes. In addition you may want to create an "Application Level" subclass as well which will allow you to make changes at the application level. That allows you to customize either at the global level (one change affects ALL applications you write) or at the application level (one change affects only that particular application).
That will help when upgrading also, if you change the MM classes, then upgrade to a future version of MM you will have to go back and make each of the changes again. If you change your own personal subclasses you won't have to redo your changes and will get the new (updated) functionality as well.
Aloha,
James
>I want the default of all mmTextboxes and most entry type controls to automaticly be READONLY. What is the best way to set this up. I would prefer not to LOOP through each control at time of load; but to actually have the default be readonly. Is there a setting that I am missing - Of would I have to subclass another layer?
