Hi, what configuration do i have to set to the comm control to behave like hyperterminal when its settins are:

9600
7 bits
even
1 stop bit
handshaking=0

Hyperterminal shows in one single line the weight of a scale, it doesn't fill the textbox.

i have the same settings in my control and every time i call:

c = mscomm1.input

it returns hundres of characters. i want the control buffer returns one single line of characters, in my case would be the weight.

How does hyperterminal controls that?
