Based on the fact that the originator wants something free and is hesitant to buy a framework I'm willing to bet he's looking at the cheaper non-enterprise ProMatrix. I thought only the enterprise version was client/server ready?

>Good. Especially for desktop network and client/server applications. If you need to do web or n-Tier development, you should probably look elsewhere. The truth is, all of the commercial frameworks are good. Otherwise, these companies wouldn't be in business. You need to take a look at each one and decide which one is right for you, based on your needs and your development style.
