MS Claims its compatible with the full versions of Rose but we have not found that to be the case. As we upgraded Rose versions (particularly once we hit 4.0.14) we lost more and more functionality. I noticed with '98 Rational is really pushing the "Extensibility" of rose (even including a printed manual about it) but I suspect that their automation interface has been improved/upgraded and left the VFP Modeling Wizard in the dust.

MS has not responded to any of our inquiries about the modeling wizard.

There also seem to be built-in limitations that make it more suited (or only suited) for use with Visual Modeler. For example, after we performed robustness analysis on our logical model and use cases we thought we would give the modeling wizard another try. Unfortunately the VM Wizard only pays attention to the Logical View and will not create classes from the new objects we introduced into the Use Case View during robustness analysis :(
