MAKE SURE YOU HAVE INSTALLED THE SUPPORT PACKS FOR ACROBAT 6 PROFESSIONAL FROM ADOBE's WEBSITE!

Your version should be 6.0.2 not anything older.

Also, as to saving in xml, if you have Adobe Acrobat 6 professional and have a pdf form with fillable form fields on it. Key data in the form fields, then click on 'Advanced' on the menu, Select 'Forms' and then 'Export Forms Data...'
In the Save as type: dropdown you should see 4 options:

Acrobat FDF Files (*.fdf)
Acrobat XFDF Files (*.xfdf) - this creates an xml doc also
XML Files (*.xml) - this is the option I used in my prev ex.
Text Files (*.txt)

In my previous example, I used .xml format for using xmltocursor(). However, you can create the .xfdf and read from it manually or create the .xfdf file on the fly from you vfp app and use it to launch the pdf form with data in the form fields populated from your apps tables.
