Einar,

>How do I assosiate my custom icon (myCustomIcon.ico) with my custom app (myCustomApp.exe) from within Visual Studio?

For the project that is your startup project, right-click on the project and open the Properties. There is a place to set an Application Icon under Common Properties | General.

>Also how do I add myCustomIcon.ico to the top left hand corner of my windows form in Visual Studio?

Check the property sheet when your form is open in the IDE in design mode ... there's an Icon property.
