I wrote an article on this subject several years ago. Check www.advisor.com and search on my name. You'll get all the information you need to create a "Single instance application".

I'd also recommend that you look at the FAQ section here where my late friend Ed Rauh accomplished the same thing using the event model.

Personally, his idea is better than mine.
