Someone can help me?
I need to know how to obtain the recordcount of a sheet in a excel file and the file version of this .xls. I can't use excel.application so I need another solution.

Because when a use :
import from (FILE NAME) XL8 | XL5 | XLS sheet (NAME SHEET)

I dont know the file version and if the sheet (NAME SHEET) is empty, import crash.
