However, in your example MyConstant contains the TEXT value "Eat at Joe's".
The Access method will not accept a text value. It is expecting one of it's constants or flags like acEXPORTDELIM.

Notice the Access Help example:
DoCmd.TransferText acExportDelim, "Standard Output", _
"External Report", "C:\Txtfiles\April.doc"
