I have a strange problem occuring on a WIN95 laptop that I
support. For some reason the default icon for alot (but not all)
applications will not work when I try to apply it.
If other icons for an app are available, I can select, then apply
it with no problems. When I try to go back to the original or default
icon and apply it, it changes it to the icon you would see for an app that is no longer available...

This system has had some problems shutting down lately (hanging) and
I am wondering if somehow this has caused some corruption that may
be the reason behind this strange problem...

Has anyone experienced a similar problem ???
