Sorry, but these answers are incorrect.

1) *IF* you choose to distribute the REPORT*.APPs, they don't need to be in the APP or EXE directory, and in fact by default they would not be found there. The merge module puts them in their default position, which is where the runtime files go, not your app. You could, of course, choose to modify and deliver REPORT*.APP files with your app, and point your app to these versions of the REPORT*.APP using the _REPORT* variables.

2) There is no need to distribute these apps if you prefer to build in the components to your application. Please check the updated helpfile for complete instructions.
