Maybe you still are working on this.

When I signed in this morning I found that there were messages in VFP (auto-expand for me on start), CHATTER (17 I think, unexpanded) and .NET (5 I think unexpanded).

I purposely did NOT expand the .NET, to see if it would show up at next startup of UT.

I DID NOT.
