Well, yeah, if you use script files you can do that with Web Connection too.

But even then you may need some built in compiled code. I doubt anybody will build an application entirely made up of script pages - without bus objects or other possibly external pieces some of which may not be under your control (ie. you can't provide source code).

But with ASP.NET everything goes this way including libs, system components etc.
