>>I think Kerry and the rest of the politicos believed what was being fed to them by Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld. They believed in their leader out of respect for his position as President - is that such a bad thing to do?

>Then you don't remember the acrimony from the 2000 election. They didn't have any faith in Bush, they are involved in a game of gridlock. The democrats try to block anything the republicans attempt. They have no respect for the opposition leader. Kerry supported the war because he put his finger in the air and thought the wind was blowing that way. Later, he tested the wind and went the other way.

I'm talking about after 911 when your country was united after the terrorist acts that occured. I doubt the U.S will be that united for many years to come - if ever.

Are you telling me that if Kerry wins by a slim margin that there won't be just as much (or more) of a fight put up by the Republicans to have the results overturned than what occured in 2000? Good grief man - of course they will. Just as the Democrats will do if it is close and they are on the losing end this time around. It works both ways.

If the politicians in your country (as well as most others) would contentrate on working together for the good of their country instead of blasting the opposing parties - oh wait, I was dreaming, that will never happen ...
