You know the difference is that this country owes it's existence to men who were very wealthy at the time it was formed. The difference is that those men had built their own wealth and then risked it all for the country.

I too am a fiscal conservative, and believe the government should protect the borders, defend us, maintain the roads and bridges for the most part, then leave us alone. However, marriage is defined as a union of a man and a women. If two men want to live together, that doesn't bother me, they are free to do what they want as long as they don't try to force it on me. It's not a marriage it's an arrangement. As for separation of church and state, I have a different opinion that most. Most of the founding fathers were religious men, otherwise the Supreme court, congress and most every other state govt opens with a prayer.
