Hi Perry,

>I would like to take this opportunity to assure you and others, such as Gary Wynne, that there are many, many, many Americans who view themselves as strong patriots, and are also disgusted by current events. Hundreds of Californians have quit their jobs, or taken sabaticals, so that they might go to Arizona or Nevada. These are 2 states that according to the polls could vote for either Kerry or Bush. There is no possible way that Bush can win California. So it is deemed more important by many to do whatever they can to return America to the people.

>Unfortunately, there is also a percentage of people in the USA who do not invest a lot of time in politcal affairs. They hear a few words that they want to hear, and that is enough to make their minds up for them. As I stated before, the article in today's newspaper talked about how the more educated a person is, the less likely they are to be for Bush. He has used the issue of "gay rights" to hammer in a wedge between the American people. So now there are many conservatives or folks from the religious right who refuse to listen to anything bad about Bush or good for Kerry.

>I can assure you that there are many here working day and night to get this country back on track. People who are truly fightened by what they see occuring in this country today.

I sincerely hope that this wil make the change. There are too many people who are not able too think. And I recognize the argument about gays and conservative. It is sad, very sad, but unfortunately the way it works. Look, I'm not a particular forstander of John Kerry. I simply don't know enought of the guy. But after 4 years of bush I definately see what the world does not need.

Walter,
