In noticed from NT4 onwards that depending on some environmental combination of issues like the version of this file:"HHCtrl.ocx" and I have no idea what else, this api function:

Declare Long HtmlHelp In "HHCtrl.ocx" As "HtmlHelp" Long, String, Long, Long

Shuts down VFP in development mode randomly but roughly 2 to 3 hours after declaring the function even if it's not explicitly called. It just vanishes with no warning. Even the shutdown event does not appear to fire. Go to lunch, come back vfp session is not there!

I say environmental because it you can have 2 win2000 workstations with identical service packs installed yet the problem happens on one of them and never on the other. Clearing DLL doesn't seem to have any effect either. Any clues please.
