Hi:

I have to define a Linked Server HPML330CAS, I have to do locks in a table NROS in some database DATOS_PRU of that Linked Server, in a distributed transaction, and I wrote the following sentence:

select NC from HPML330CAS.DATOS_PRU.dbo.NROS
(rowlock holdlock updlock)
where NC_TABLA = 'NC_CLI'

I get the following error:

Error 7377
Connectivity error: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Cannot specify an index or locking hint for a remote data source.

What can I do?
