Tommy,
>Should we pay ANY attention to what Cronkite says????OMG!! Walter Cronkite is a *legend*!!!
I'll admit that what he said sounds a bit far-fetched, so maybe he's getting a bit old or something. <g>
But still ... it's Walter Cronkite for cryin' out loud!! He is a man I've always admired, even when I was a little kid. I would certainly never compare him to Dan Rather (who I've never been very fond of).

>>Sat Oct 30 2004 16:31:19 ET
>>
>>Former CBSNEWS anchorman Walter Cronkite believes Bush adviser Karl Rove is possibly behind the new Bin Laden tape.
>>
>>Cronkite made the startling comments late Friday during an interview on CNN.
>>
>>Cronkite said he is "inclined to think that Karl Rove, the political manager at the White House, who is a very clever man, he probably set up bin Laden to this thing."
>>
>>Interviewer Larry King did not ask Cronkite to elaborate on the provocative election eve accusation."
>>
>>Is that not just too off the wall? Help me follow the logic behind that, please!

>He is the foreruner to Rather, and we have seen the lengths that Rather will go to to help his partisan choice for President to win (fake Memos.....et. all. ).
