You don't have any Guard or military in your area? The rebuilding that is occuring and the positive attitudes of the Iraqis that aren't fanatical. Schools are being rebuilt, water and electrical are above pre war levels as is oil production. Formation of Iraqi police and military as well as their ability to form their own government will, I believe, in the long haul do more to hamper terrorist recruting. Time will tell, we occupied Japan and Germany > 5 years.

One question I always ask, and I always get the same answer. "When you see how it's going in the media is there any resemblance to what is actually happening?" So far it's always been no.
